CYCLES

Passou um ano desde que publiquei aqui, dito assim parece uma eternidade mas a verdade é que passou a correr.

Para mim a vida é feita de ciclos e este ano que passou foi muito duro a nível pessoal e ainda continua a sê-lo, mas em família vamos tentando ganhar forças para ultrapassar esta fase da nossa vida, dando graças pelo presente e renovando a nossa esperança no futuro!

Não deixei de fazer coisas bonitas, simplesmente tive que abrandar o ritmo e decidi publicar noutros lados como o facebook e o instagram que são mais imediatos. Se quiserem ver o que ando a fazer é melhor passarem por lá!

Isto para dizer que este espaço está a precisar de uma nova direcção e de uma mudança, uma visão mais clara de onde quero ir, o que quero fazer e o que me faz realmente feliz!

Deixo-vos com um bouquet que fiz em outubro do ano passado para a minha querida amiga Andreia, uma amizade de amor à primeira vista que dura à 18 anos!

A year has passed since I published here, said it seems an eternity but the truth is that passed so quickly.

For me life is made of cycles and this year has been very hard on a personal level and continues to be so, but as a family we are trying to gain strength to overcome this phase of our lives, giving thanks for the present and renewing our hope for the future!

I continued to make beautiful things, but i just had to slow down and decided to publish elsewhere like facebook and instagram that are more immediate. If you want to see what I'm doing is better go there!

That is to say that this space is in need of a new direction and a change, a clearer vision of where i want to go, what I want to do and what makes me really happy!

I leave you with a bouquet I made in October last year for my dear friend Andreia, a friendship of love at first sight that lasts for 18 years!

INSPIRAÇÃO PRETO E ROSA = BLACK AND PINK INSPIRATION

Eu gosto de inspirar as minhas futuras noivas para que sintam que tudo é possível e nem tudo precisa de gritar casamento para ser gracioso e bonito.

Eu adoro contrastes e a mistura do rosa com o preto dá-nos esse equilíbrio entre o romântico e o masculino de uma forma natural. Deixo-vos também uma proposta de um bouquet arranjado de forma mais descontraída e natural mas romântica, que eu gosto tanto, para contrariar os formatos arredondados.

Esta inspiração é para aquelas noivas mais arrojadas ou para os casamentos-batizados onde as noivas já não se sentem à vontade para serem tão tradicionais.

O casamento não é mais que a vossa história espelhada num dia, por isso é tão importante transmitir nos pormenores essas nuances e captar em imagens esse fio condutor para que ao olharem para essas memórias...as sintam!

I like to inspire my future brides to feel that everything is possible and not everything needs to shout marriage to be graceful and beautiful.

I love contrasts and the pink mixed with black gives us that balance between the romantic and the male in a natural way. I leave you also a proposal of a more relaxed and natural bouquet  but romantic, to counter the rounded shapes.

This inspiration is for those more daring brides or weddings-baptisms where brides don't feel comfortable being so traditional.

Marriage is your story mirrored in a day, so it is so important to convey in the details these nuances and capture timeless images so that when you look at those memories ... you feel it!

MESA CASAMENTO = WEDDING TABLE

No último dia do workshop cada uma de nós teve a oportunidade de criar um arranjo que iria compor uma mesa de casamento romântica com um toque rústico em tons de rosa e lilás. Eu sou suspeita mas eu gostei muito!

On the last day of the workshop each of us had the opportunity to create an arrangement that would compose a romantic wedding table with a rustic touch in pink and lilac. I am suspicious but I liked it a lot!

ROMANTIC SHOWER BOUQUET

O shower bouquet é desenhado de forma a que tenha uma forma em cascata onde as flores são dispostas de maneira a que assumam uma forma que descai suavemente. Este tipo de design é ideal para quem optou por um vestido simples e quer definitivamente marcar a diferença com um bouquet trabalhado!!! 

The shower bouquet  is designed so that it has a cascade shape where the flowers are arranged as they smoothly trailing. This type of design is ideal for those who opted for a simple dress and definitely want to make a difference!!!

ARRANJO NATAL 2014 = CHRISTMAS CENTERPIECE 2014

Este ano decidi fazer um arranjo simples e natural para decorar a mesa de Natal e que é muito fácil de replicar por vocês aí em casa.
Apenas precisam de velas, pinhas, uns raminhos natalícios apanhados perto de casa  e uma bandeja grande e bonita! Festas Felizes!!!

This year I decided to make a simple and natural arrangement to decorate the Christmas table and that is very easy to replicate for you at home.
You just need candles, pine cones, forage green and a large and beautiful tray! Happy holidays !!!

BOUQUET NOIVA = BRIDAL BOUQUET

Existem bouquets em que só conseguimos ver a sua forma real quando os seguramos e os sentimos nas nossas mãos.... E este é definitivamente um deles! Obrigada à querida Katie por ter sido a nossa modelo de serviço! Só tenho pena que este não tenha sido segurado e apreciado por uma noiva, porque não consigo tirar da cabeça um vestido branco como pano de fundo para ele!!!! 

There are bouquets that we can only see its real shape when the handle and feel them in our hands .... And this is definitely one of them! Thanks to dear Katie for being our model! I am only sorry that this has not been held and enjoyed by a bride, because I can only think in a white dress as a backdrop for it !!!!

O BOUQUET DA PORTA SECRETA = THE BOUQUET OF THE SECRET DOOR

Deixem-me mostrar-vos o primeiro bouquet que fiz na minha semana dedicada às flores... O bouquet da porta secreta como tão carinhosamente a Emma lhe chamou! É incrível como apesar de estarmos todas a aprender o mesmo conseguimos criar coisas tão diferentes, tão nossas! Tudo graças à Sabine que tem imensa experiência e é uma excelente professora!  Ensinou-nos inúmeras técnicas que são transversais ao design floral mas deixou-nos explorar o nosso próprio estilo, e foi verdadeiramente uma inspiração e aspiração! Tive o prazer também de conhecer a maravilhosa Johanna , que esteve comigo neste curso e que tem uma pequena floricultura, a qual tenho definitivamente de visitar quando voltar!!!

Durante a semana estive ainda com na quinta da Lara a aprender sobre o cultivo de flores, mas isso são aventuras para depois....

Let me show you the first bouquet I did in my week dedicated to flowers... The secret door bouquet as Emma so affectionately called it! It's amazing how even though we are all learning the same we managed to create so many different things, so ours! All thanks to Sabine who has immense experience and is an excellent teacher! She taught us many techniques that are transverse to the floral design but let us explore our own style and she was truly an inspiration and aspiration! And i had the pleasure of meeting the wonderful Johanna, who was also with me in this course and has a small flower farm, which definitely have to visit when I return !!!

During the week I was on the Lara's Flower farm learning about growing flowers, but that is other adventure...

BOUQUET

A próxima semana promete ser (espero eu!) bastante emocionante! Vou emergir-me completamente em flores durante 5 dias, ver e aprender coisas novas, conhecer perspetivas e pessoas diferentes! Não há nada melhor do que viajar e abrir os horizontes para nos sentirmos inspirados!

The next week promises to be (I hope!) quite exciting! Will emerge myself completely in flowers for 5 days, to see and learn new things, meet different people and perspectives! There is nothing better than traveling and open the horizons to feel inspired!

No bouquet de noiva usei tulipas, rosas de jardim, rosas, cravinas e malmequer para um look romântico e descontraído. 

In the bridal bouquet i used tulips, garden roses, roses, marigold and mini carnations for a romantic and relaxed look.

FLOWER ARRANGING 101 - CHELSEA FUSS - WEEK THREE

Para acompanhar a mudança de visual do site/blog (espero que gostem!), trago-vos uma coroa de flores criada como trabalho de casa do pequeno curso online que estou a fazer e do qual já vos tinha falado antes.

Decidi mudar a imagem do Hoje é Especial porque já não me estava a identificar com aquilo que tínhamos e quando uma coisa me começa a incomodar muito, tenho de fazer alguma coisa para resolver o problema senão começo a ficar angustiada e é um sentimento com o qual não consigo viver muito tempo.

A minha querida e doce Catarina interpretou muito bem o papel que esta coroa pedia, etéreo e misterioso, que ela tem dentro dela mas do qual ainda se envergonha e lhe provoca risos sem fim. Deixo-vos com as imagens...

To accompany the site/blog new look (hope you like it!), I bring you a wreath created as homework of the course I am taking. 

I decided to change the image of the Hoje é Especial because I was no longer identifying myself with what we had and when something starts to bother me much, I have to do something to solve the problem. I start to get anxious and it is a feeling with which I cannot live long. 

My dear, sweet Catarina played very well the role that the crown was asking, ethereal and mysterious, that she has within, but which still embarrasses and causes her endless laughs. I leave you with the images ...
